Helpers of Change is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit serving veterans, families, and underserved communities across Central Texas.
Built from lived experience and a call to serve
Helpers of Change was founded by community leaders who saw a painful gap: veterans returning home, families losing housing, and neighbors leaving incarceration — all met with fragmented services and far too few people willing to walk the road with them.
What began as one-on-one outreach grew into an integrated nonprofit committed to a simple idea: when you pair practical resources with genuine relationships, lives change. From Round Rock to Killeen, we have grown alongside the communities we serve, listening first and building programs that actually move the needle.
Today we partner with employers, agencies, faith communities, and donors across Central Texas to provide housing support, employment opportunities, transportation, meals, and holistic care — all delivered with dignity.
